Village leadership requires thoughtful planning, responsible budgeting, and steady decision-making. I am running to ensure our local government remains focused on those priorities — and on the everyday needs of our community.
My name is Brian Mitchell. I am a husband, father of three energetic boys, and proud owner of one gentle giant Great Dane, Mabel. I am a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel, former West Point Assistant Professor of Economics, a coach, neighbor, and committed citizen of Cornwall-on-Hudson.
I have spent my adult life in service to our country, leading teams, managing complex challenges, and working to build strong institutions. I am running to bring that experience, balance, and steady judgment to Village governance.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. I hope to represent your concerns as we preserve the rich history of Cornwall-on-Hudson while preparing responsibly for the future. Please vote on March 18th to help set the tone for the next four years.

Strong local government depends on listening, respectful collaboration, and clear communication. I believe leadership means explaining decisions, welcoming input, and working constructively with neighbors and colleagues alike.
